Winhere Origine Motorsport won the GT3 overall classification at Round 3 of the 2026 Xiaomi China GT Championship in Zhuhai, the team’s fourth overall victory of the season. Ye Hongli and Yuan Bo shared the No. 96 Porsche 911 GT3 R (992) EVO through a weekend of high summer temperatures, heavy rain, safety car interruptions and a red-flag suspension. WINHERE, which supplies the team’s Black Series racing brake discs and pads, said the braking system held predictable performance across both dry and wet running.

A Weekend of Interrupted Running
The Zhuhai round was shortened and reshaped by conditions. Extreme summer heat gave way to heavy rain, and the race ran under safety car intervention before a red flag suspended it entirely. Winhere Origine Motorsport took the GT3 overall win under those conditions, which the company attributed to a combination of pace, consistency and race strategy.
The win extends a season that has already produced three prior overall victories for the team, according to WINHERE. The company did not break out round-by-round results for those earlier wins.
How Does Race Data Reach Winhere’s Aftermarket Products?
WINHERE said each lap and braking event generates data that feeds directly into its research and development process. The company listed temperature distribution, wear characteristics, friction stability, thermal management and durability as the parameters it tracks and carries into future product work.
WINHERE describes the process as a four-stage loop — race validation, data analysis, technology innovation, product enhancement — the same closed-loop framing behind its GT racing program. The company said the cycle refines its racing braking systems while transferring proven technology into its next generation of premium aftermarket braking products.
Motorsport as a Duty Cycle
WINHERE’s stated position is that competition subjects a braking system to conditions conventional testing cannot fully replicate: high-speed straights into repeated heavy braking, elevated disc temperatures and weather that shifts within a single session. On that basis the company treats its race program as an engineering environment rather than a sponsorship line item.
The Black Series discs and pads were run for the full Zhuhai weekend. WINHERE said the package maintained consistency and thermal stability under continuous high-load operation on both a dry racing line and a wet circuit.
