Enhancing IndyCar with Data
In 2025, PFC Brakes will revolutionize how fans and teams engage with IndyCar racing by providing detailed brake performance data before each race. This initiative will offer insights into critical metrics such as peak brake temperatures in degrees Fahrenheit, peak deceleration in G-forces, the percentage of each lap spent on brakes, and the total brake energy used in kilowatt-hours per race. By sharing this data, PFC aims to enhance understanding of how brake performance influences race strategies and outcomes, bringing a new dimension to the sport.

Powering the Tatuus F3 Regional Car
PFC Brakes has been named the official brake supplier for the innovative Tatuus F3 Regional Generation II T-236 car. This new single-seater represents a significant advancement in motorsport technology, with a focus on enhanced safety, aerodynamic efficiency, and improved driving dynamics. Designed to support young drivers in their development, the T-326 offers a refined and accessible driving experience. Aerodynamically, the car features a redesigned shape compliant with the latest FIA regulations, inspired by higher-tier Formula racing trends, resulting in better performance and easier overtaking conditions.
PFC’s brake package for the T-326 includes the ZR108 4-piston monoblock aluminum calipers, the V3 floating rotor system, patented slot pattern rotors, and newly developed brake pads specifically for single-seaters. This collaboration builds on a long-standing partnership with Tatuus, spanning projects like Formula Renault and the USFPro series.
“We are delighted working with Tatuus in the new F3 Regional Gen II as sole brake supplier. We have been working together for many years in many different projects,” said PFC’s Director of Global Motorsport, Luis Maurel.
