PAGID Racing Partners with Nürburgring eSports

PAGID Racing, a global leader in high-performance braking technology, has announced a new partnership with the Nürburgring eSports Team to advance virtual motorsport. This collaboration aims to support emerging talents and integrate cutting-edge technology to bridge the gap between virtual and real-world racing. With over 30 years of motorsport expertise, PAGID Racing will enhance the Nürburgring eSports experience by equipping virtual vehicles with its branding and leveraging innovative simulation technologies.

  • Team Stats: In 2024, the Nürburgring eSports Team completed 3,234 iRacing races and 150,206 laps, including 10,919 on the Nordschleife.
  • Advanced Simulator: The team uses the DRseven© simulator, offering a realistic driving experience with seven actuators and six degrees of freedom.
  • Talent Development: The partnership focuses on nurturing young virtual racers and enhancing their skills.
  • Existing Collaboration: PAGID Racing already supports the Nürburgring through projects like the PAGID Racing Curve and brake pads for the Driving Academy.
PAGID Racing Partners with Nürburgring eSports

The Nürburgring eSports Team, established in 2021 and acquired by Nürburgring in 2023, comprises 50 active drivers, including real racers and coaches. In 2024, the team logged 7,910 hours on virtual tracks. The DRseven© simulator, developed by Adrenalin eSports GmbH, delivers an immersive experience, replicating every detail of the track, including the challenging Nordschleife.

Matthew Greenman, Head of Global Motorsports at PAGID Racing, stated, “This partnership allows us to push the boundaries of racing through immersive simulation technologies.” Sebastian Fiedelak, Managing Director of Nürburgring eSports, added, “Collaborating with PAGID Racing will elevate sim racing and support talented drivers.”

PAGID Racing’s ongoing commitment to the Nürburgring includes equipping the Driving Academy with high-quality brake pads and creating the Chill and Brake Zone at the karting track. As a brand of TMD Friction, PAGID Racing supplies brakes for elite vehicles like Audi and Ferrari, reinforcing its reputation for innovation and performance in motorsport.
