Bosch is launching a new disc brake pad range for trucks, trailers, and buses, one piece of a broader commercial vehicle aftermarket expansion the company is presenting at Automechanika 2026. The rollout also adds urea filters, steering systems, windshield wipers, and auxiliary drive components, alongside the company’s ESI[tronic] diagnostic software. Bosch says it draws on its position as an original-equipment supplier to commercial vehicle manufacturers in developing the aftermarket lineup. The company also supports workshops through the Alltrucks concept, a Europe-wide multi-brand maintenance and repair network.

New Disc Brake Pads for Commercial Vehicles
The new pads are designed for a balanced ratio of friction coefficient, comfort, and wear, according to Bosch. A surface coating is intended to shorten the break-in period by improving interaction between pad and disc. For workshops, the company says the expanded range simplifies parts sourcing by covering trucks, trailers, and buses from a single supplier. The pad launch arrives alongside similar Automechanika 2026 refreshes from other suppliers, including Brembo’s copper-free brake pad lineup.
New Urea Filters for AdBlue Systems
Bosch is adding two urea filters for third-party AdBlue injection systems to its portfolio, covering different generations of Cummins-Hilite systems used in the Mercedes-Benz Actros as well as DAF and Scania vehicles. The company says the filters help protect injection valves from contamination and support precise AdBlue dosing, simplifying parts procurement for exhaust-gas aftertreatment work.
Steering Systems for Modern Commercial Vehicles
Bosch’s electrohydraulic Servotwin steering system combines the existing Servocom steering with electric assistance, which the company says enables additional driver-assistance functions and serves as a foundation for automated vehicle functions. The electric assistance also allows emergency steering functions to be realized without a second hydraulic circuit.
The lineup is complemented by electrohydraulic rear-axle steering systems intended to support maneuverability in tight environments. A control unit calculates the required rear-axle steering angle based on the front axle’s steering input; an electric motor drives a hydraulic pump that generates pressure to actuate a cylinder and steer the rear wheels. The new steering components will be available from August 2026. Bosch’s commercial vehicle brake business has also expanded recently through a 50:50 joint venture with India’s TSF Group to develop electronically controlled air brake systems.
Wiper and Auxiliary Drive Program Expansions
Starting in September 2026, Bosch is expanding its Aerotwin J.E.T-Blade program with additional set variants and wiper lengths. The system applies washer fluid directly in front of the blade through integrated nozzles, which the company says reduces spray mist and improves immediate visibility. A pre-assembled, vehicle-specific adapter is designed to speed installation and cut wiper-change time.
Bosch is also adding new tensioning and idler pulleys and additional V-ribbed belts to its auxiliary drive component range, engineered for high loads and long service life. The expanded range becomes available in November 2026.
ESI[tronic] Diagnostic Software
Bosch’s ESI[tronic] for Truck and Off-Highway software gives workshops access to manufacturer data, maintenance information, repair instructions, and circuit diagrams for diagnosis and repair work. The company says the platform now covers more than 18,000 vehicle models from over 600 brands and is updated regularly. A Secure Diagnostic Access feature is designed to facilitate access to protected vehicle electronics, and the software works alongside Bosch’s KTS Truck diagnostic module to help workshops reduce downtime.
