Brembo Brings Copper-Free Brake Pads to Automechanika 2026

Brembo is bringing a fully copper-free brake pad range, an expanded Greenance line that now includes brake fluid, and a renewed caliper lineup to Automechanika Frankfurt 2026.

Brembo will present a fully copper-free brake pad range, an expanded Greenance line, and a renewed caliper lineup for its aftermarket and upgrade business at Automechanika Frankfurt 2026. The company said its entire pad offering is now copper-free, a change it attributes to performance and tightening regulation, while its lower-emission Greenance family has grown to include brake fluid. Most of Brembo‘s discs, pads, and brake fluid are developed and manufactured in-house, the company said, building on the complete aftermarket range it has detailed at recent shows.

Copper-Free Pads and PVT Discs

Brembo said its complete pad lineup is now copper-free, reflecting both performance requirements and regulatory change. On the disc side, the company points to high-carbon materials, UV coating, and its patented Pillar Venting Technology (PVT). These choices are being extended progressively across the aftermarket portfolio, according to Brembo.

Greenance Line Adds Brake Fluid

The Greenance family, which Brembo positions around reducing brake emissions ahead of Euro 7 requirements, now extends to brake fluid alongside its existing disc and pad solutions. The company said it continues to work toward lowering brake emissions while maintaining braking performance.

Range and Electrified Vehicles

The aftermarket and upgrade offering spans passenger cars, commercial and light commercial vehicles, motorcycles, bicycles, and electrified platforms. For electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles, Brembo said its EV KIT targets corrosion resistance and noise reduction.
