A Legacy of Braking Innovation
With over 70 years of experience, Galfer is a benchmark in braking technology. The company pioneered the revolutionary Wave (W) rotor, patented in 1998, which has since been widely imitated. This innovation is complemented by other proprietary technologies, including Shark, Cubiq®, and Floatech® rotors, alongside advanced Sinter and Semi-metal pads. This commitment to R&D has positioned Galfer as a key OEM supplier for leading motorcycle and bicycle brands such as KTM, Ducati, Triumph, Beta, Orbea, and Pivot.
Unwavering Commitment to Quality
Galfer’s dedication to quality and safety is backed by ISO 9001, 14001, and 50001 certifications. All brake rotors and pads hold ECE R-90 Homologation, a global standard ensuring performance meets or exceeds original equipment. In 2024, the International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) recognized this excellence by awarding Galfer its prestigious FIM Quality Product seal, endorsing the products for their high performance and reliability.
Validated in Elite Competition
Galfer’s braking systems are proven in the most demanding environments, contributing to over 120 world championships since 1952. The company has equipped legendary champions across MotoGP, Supercross, Enduro, and Downhill, including Marc Márquez, Ken Roczen, Toni Bou, and Steve Holcombe. Galfer also supports the next generation of talent as an official sponsor of development leagues like the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup.
A New Era of Service in North America
The new 500m² (1,650 square feet) Orlando facility is central to Galfer’s direct service strategy for North America. Under the leadership of Armando Riva, Galfer USA will provide a comprehensive catalog, specialized technical support, and continuous training. This hub ensures significantly improved logistics and availability for all customers in the U.S. and Canada. Galfer USA now stands as the brand’s sole official subsidiary in the territory.
Industry and Rider Recognition
Galfer’s impact in North America is also highlighted by recent accolades from trade media. The company was selected as the top pick in the 2024 Racer X Readers’ Choice Survey and awarded the title of #1 Brake Disc to Buy in 2025 by Vital MX.
A Message from the CEO
“We want this subsidiary to reflect our values: innovation, quality, service, and excellence,” said Francisco Catena, CEO of Industrias Galfer. “From here, we will continue to drive solutions that make a difference in the industry with a local strategy and execution in a market that must be one of the pillars of the future Galfer.”
