Fremax has been named the best brake disc brand at the Sindirepa-SP “Os Melhores do Ano” awards for the tenth consecutive year, keeping the category’s Gold ranking in every edition since it was created. The result was decided by automotive repair shops across São Paulo state, who evaluated 16 product and equipment lines. Fremax, a brake-component brand owned by Frasle Mobility, reached the milestone as it marks 40 years in business.

Ten Straight Gold Rankings
The Gold seal places the brand at the head of the disc category in every Sindirepa-SP survey since it was introduced. According to Fremax, the run of awards reflects repairers’ confidence in a part tied directly to vehicle safety. Over four decades in business, Fremax has grown from the Brazilian aftermarket to supply automakers and repair markets abroad.
“More than recognition, Fremax takes on the commitment to deliver the best solution to the market, always seeking to innovate with new technologies and added services, so that the repairer has confidence in our products and, in turn, provides the best experiences to the car owner,” said Julio Cesar da Silva, Fremax’s Braking Component business director.
How Is the Sindirepa-SP Award Decided?
Now in its 17th edition, the Sindirepa-SP “Os Melhores do Ano” award recognizes auto parts, equipment, and service brands as rated by repair professionals. The survey is built and run by CINAU – Central de Inteligência Automotiva, part of Grupo Oficina Brasil, and drew more than 300 repair professionals. Voters weigh product quality, service, availability, and other factors relevant to daily shop work.
Repairer Input at the Center
Fremax ties its product and service development to direct contact with repair shops, the company said. Da Silva, who has worked at the company for more than 30 years, framed the award as the product of that approach.
“We try to listen to the repairers in order to serve them in the best possible way. It is an evolutionary and continuous effort, which relies on the collaboration of our entire team, and the award motivates us even more to continue with our mission, which is to ensure the satisfaction of every link in the chain,” he said.
From the Track to the Street
Fremax’s motorsport program feeds its product development, the company said. As the official brake disc supplier to Porsche Cup Brasil, it runs discs built to withstand severe track conditions. The brand entered its 20th season in that role in 2026, a relationship that dates to 2007.
