Restructuring for Greater Performance
At its recent meeting, the ZF Supervisory Board confirmed Andreas Moser’s appointment to the Board of Management, effective November 1, 2025. Moser brings more than 30 years of ZF experience, including leadership roles across the Commercial Vehicle Solutions and Industrial Technology divisions. His appointment ensures both continuity and expertise within ZF’s top management.
Meanwhile, Sebastian Schmitt assumes leadership of the Electrified Powertrain Technology (E) division, overseeing ZF’s conventional, hybrid, and electric drivetrain technologies. Schmitt, an industrial engineer with nearly two decades at ZF, previously managed the Electrified Powertrain Systems product line and held key positions in Mexico and Germany.

Driving Operational Efficiency
To streamline decision-making and enhance accountability, CEO Mathias Miedreich has reduced the Group Board of Management and introduced a Transformation Committee that unites critical business areas—sales, materials management, production, and strategy—directly with executive leadership. The goal: greater speed, clarity, and impact across global operations.
Leadership Perspective
“Following the changes to the Board of Management, it was important for the Supervisory Board to create clarity in the Group’s management,” said Dr. Rolf Breidenbach, Chairman of the ZF Supervisory Board.
“With this new Management Board, we have a strong and highly competent leadership team that will successfully guide ZF into the future,” added CEO Mathias Miedreich.
Bottom Line
By consolidating leadership and creating a focused Transformation Committee, ZF is positioning itself for greater agility, profitability, and resilience amid ongoing industry transformation.
