PHINIA will present expanded Delphi coverage for Chinese vehicle applications, Professional+ brake pads for light commercial vehicles, and a portfolio the company says holds #1 coverage across 20 product lines in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa at Automechanika Frankfurt 2026. The company, which brings its Delphi, Delco Remy, and Hartridge brands to Hall 4.0, Stand D51, is positioning the show around what it describes as evolving vehicle parc trends — the changing mix of vehicles in operation — including growth in Chinese brands, electrification, and more complex vehicle electronics. Live demonstrations at the Delphi Technical Van in the Experience Park will show repair scenarios for independent workshops.
Highlights
- Delphi reports #1 coverage across 20 product lines in EMEA, including Braking, Steering & Suspension, Sensors, Ignition Coils, and EGR valves.
- The Delphi Professional+ brake pad range for light commercial vehicles delivers an average of 40% greater durability, according to the company.
- PHINIA says it delivered 80 first-to-market launches in EMEA and 115 in North America in 2025, with nearly 2,000 SKUs added last year and more than 5,000 now available globally.
- The DFP5 repair solution under the MDEG pump repair program now covers more than 400,000 heavy-duty vehicles in EMEA.
Braking Coverage for Chinese Vehicle Applications
The company reports that Delphi has achieved what it calls the industry’s leading range coverage for Chinese vehicle applications in both Braking and Steering & Suspension across EMEA. That expansion sits alongside the broader coverage claim across 20 EMEA product lines, while the brand’s Fuel Pump Module Assembly range holds #1 coverage in North America, according to PHINIA.
“The vehicle parc is changing faster than ever, particularly with the growth of Chinese brands, electrification, and increasingly complex vehicle electronics,” said Juan Thomaz, General Manager, Aftermarket Solutions, EMEA, at PHINIA. “Our focus at Automechanika is ensuring distributors and workshops have access to our trusted product portfolio, diagnostic capability, connected workshop solutions, and technical support needed to service these vehicles confidently and profitably.”
PHINIA says the new-to-range pipeline that produced 80 first-to-market EMEA launches in 2025 is on track to match that pace in 2026, with additional North American launches also planned.
Professional+ Brake Pads for Light Commercial Vehicles
The Delphi Professional+ brake pad range for light commercial vehicles is engineered for higher loads and demanding duty cycles, the company says. Delphi reports an average of 40% greater durability over the range, reducing replacement frequency and increasing vehicle uptime for commercial operators.
Design details PHINIA cites for the range:
- Integrated shims to improve comfort and noise performance
- Fitment grease included with every pad set to support correct installation
- Heavy-duty friction material targeting light commercial vehicle load and duty-cycle requirements
The Professional+ line is also sold in North America, where it comprises steering and suspension components rather than brake pads, engineered for harsh operating environments and demanding duty cycles.
What Else Is PHINIA Showing at Automechanika 2026?
Beyond braking, PHINIA’s stand covers workshop diagnostics, vehicle electronics, and heavy-duty fuel system repair.
Battery state of health reporting. New SoH reporting functionality allows workshops to assess EV battery health in a single click and generate a customer-facing report. PHINIA also previewed a future remote diagnostics release intended to support more complex repairs across vehicle types and technologies.
Vehicle electronics. Building on its earlier NOx sensor introduction, Delphi is adding ride height level sensors, GDi sensors, and liquid fuel pressure sensors to the electronics range.
Heavy-duty pump repair. The MDEG pump repair program introduces the DFP5 repair solution for high-pressure truck systems, now covering more than 400,000 vehicles in EMEA and supporting servicing of Euro 6 common rail engines.
Cataloging and data. Delphi cites Premier TecAlliance Supplier status, expanded cross-referencing, and 360° imagery to improve product identification.
PHINIA will also mark Delco Remy’s 130th anniversary at the show, recognizing the brand’s history in rotating electrics.
“I am excited to attend my first Automechanika representing PHINIA and to demonstrate how our global aftermarket strategy is helping distributors and workshops succeed through recognized brands and technical expertise,” said Dan Griffin, Aftermarket Solutions President at PHINIA. “Combining the engineering excellence of a global Tier 1 supplier with the agility of an aftermarket specialist and a deep understanding of global market needs, PHINIA is uniquely positioned to support customers around the world as the industry continues to evolve.”
The company’s Professional+ range was first detailed earlier this year, when Delphi launched the LCV pad line with a phased 58-SKU rollout through 2026. PHINIA joins a crowded braking lineup at this year’s show, where ZF Aftermarket is debuting a recycled-content brake fluid and Brembo is presenting a copper-free pad range.
