Brembo Says Aftermarket Range Covers 98% of Turkish Car Parc

Brembo says its aftermarket portfolio covers up to 98% of the Turkish circulating car parc in brake discs and pads, a claim the company unveiled at Automechanika Istanbul alongside its five product families.

Brembo says its aftermarket portfolio now covers up to 98% of the Turkish circulating car parc in brake discs and pads, a figure the company put forward at Automechanika Istanbul as evidence of its reach into the local replacement market.

The Italian brake specialist presented the coverage claim alongside a walkthrough of its five aftermarket product families at the Istanbul trade show. Brembo positions the Turkish lineup as serving everything from compact and mid-size cars to premium models and light commercial vehicles, with workshops, distributors, and drivers able to identify a Brembo part for virtually every application on the road. The company detailed the announcement on its corporate site.

Highlights

  • Up to 98% coverage of the Turkish circulating car parc in brake discs and pads
  • Five aftermarket product families on display: Essential, Prime, Beyond, Xtra, and Upgrade
  • Coverage spans passenger cars, light commercial vehicles, commercial vehicles, and motorcycles
  • Beyond family includes the Greenance range for reduced particulate emissions and the EV range for electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles

Five Product Families

Brembo structures its replacement offering into five families, each developed for a specific customer profile and vehicle use case. The segmentation is unchanged from prior Automechanika appearances and continues to anchor the company’s aftermarket presentation strategy.

Brembo Essential is positioned as the entry point to the Brembo aftermarket, with replacement solutions that include brake drums, shoes, hydraulic components, and calipers.

Brembo Prime is the premium family, developed to fit specific vehicles across passenger cars, light commercial vehicles, commercial vehicles, and motorcycles. The Prime line covers discs, pads, calipers, and brake fluids, and Brembo recently detailed the Prime range in greater technical depth, including its high-carbon cast iron discs and copper-free Ceramic pad option.

Brembo Beyond is the company’s new-mobility line, with two dedicated ranges: Beyond Greenance, aimed at reducing particulate emissions, and Beyond EV, designed for electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles. Both are pitched on sustainability, comfort, and durability and were covered in more detail when Brembo restated the Beyond proposition last fall.

Brembo Xtra targets drivers of four- and two-wheel vehicles looking for distinctive design and added performance, combining technical content with a stronger visual identity.

Brembo Upgrade is the performance range derived from motorsport, including Gran Turismo (GT) systems, Pista kits, and carbon ceramic discs.

Two-Wheel and Commercial Coverage

In addition to the four-wheel offering, Brembo confirmed a dedicated aftermarket range for two-wheel vehicles in Turkey, extending its position as a multi-segment braking supplier. Commercial-vehicle coverage falls within the Prime family for the Turkish market.

Why the Turkish Market

The 98% parc figure is the most concrete data point in the announcement. Brembo did not break out the figure by vehicle segment, by passenger car versus light commercial vehicle, or against any specific competitor benchmark — the company states only that the coverage applies to brake discs and pads across the circulating car parc. The pitch to Turkish workshops and distributors leans on Brembo’s full-portfolio approach and on what the company describes as ease of installation and ready availability of fast-moving references.
