The Exeter-based online supplier said the expansion targets the spring servicing surge as bikes return to UK roads after winter storage.

PartsInMotion said the timing aligns with a recurring seasonal pattern, in which motorcycles returning to UK roads after winter layups generate elevated workshop demand for wear items. Brake pads, discs, batteries, and clutch components are typical first-service replacements after extended downtime.
Matt Gates, director at PartsInMotion.co.uk, commented: “As the weather improves, we always see a noticeable uplift in motorbike servicing and repairs. Many bikes have been off the road over winter, so there’s often a need to replace worn components. We’ve expanded our range to ensure the trade has fast, reliable access to the right parts during this busy period.”
The distributor positioned the move as part of a broader trade-channel strategy, citing what it described as growing workshop adoption of online ordering for parts that were once routed through dealerships or local motor factors.

The motorbike additions slot into a distributor portfolio that already carries more than 15 premium car-brake brands, including febi, Borg & Beck, Apec, JURATEK, TRW, Bosch, Blue Print, First Line, and NK. TRW and Brembo were previously stocked for car applications; their motorbike-specific references are new to the PartsInMotion catalogue.
Yuasa is one of the dominant OEM and aftermarket battery brands in the motorcycle segment.

The PartsInMotion announcement follows ZF Aftermarket’s March 2026 expansion of the TRW motorcycle brake pad catalogue, which added more than 1,000 new applications and nearly 40 new part numbers for the 2026 model year. That update extended TRW motorcycle pad coverage to more than 7,500 model applications, including a 38 percent increase in electric two-wheeler coverage and new references for Chinese-brand machines from Benelli, CF Moto, Moto Morini, and Voge.
