ZF Scan Diagnostic Tool Debuts at HDAW 2026

ZF Aftermarket launched ZF Scan at HDAW 2026, a diagnostic platform consolidating WABCO TOOLBOX PLUS and ZF Testman into one tool for commercial vehicle braking, transmission, and ADAS systems.

ZF Aftermarket launched ZF Scan, a diagnostic platform for commercial vehicles, at Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week (HDAW) 2026 in Grapevine, Texas. The tool consolidates legacy applications into a single interface for truck and trailer diagnostics.

Highlights

  • ZF Scan unifies WABCO TOOLBOX PLUS™ and ZF Testman™ into one platform with support for future diagnostic modules
  • System coverage includes braking, transmission, chassis, and ADAS technologies across the ZF portfolio
  • Built-in compliance with OE security standards and Software Update Management Systems (SUMS) for cybersecurity
  • ZF Aftermarket exhibits at HDAW 2026 Booth #1307, January 19-22

Platform Capabilities

ZF Scan is part of the ZF [pro]Diagnostics portfolio. The tool enables technicians to perform vehicle health scans, read and clear fault codes, adjust parameters, and support ECU flashing where applicable.

The platform features a user-friendly interface designed to reduce training time. Compliance with current OE security standards supports higher first-time fix rates and improved vehicle uptime.

“As commercial vehicles continue to evolve, diagnostics must keep pace with the growing integration of systems and software,” said Anuj Gupta, Head of Digital North America, ZF Aftermarket.

ZF Aftermarket operates as a single-source provider to the commercial vehicle aftermarket with five brands and over 70,000 part numbers:

“ZF Scan is part of ZF Aftermarket’s broader strategy to support the full commercial vehicle service ecosystem with OE-engineered parts, digital tools and technical expertise,” said Chris Battershell, Head of Aftermarket North America.
