The aftermarket industry descended on Las Vegas this week, and the energy at AAPEX 2025 was noticeable. With thousands of attendees and more than 2,700 exhibitors filling the Venetian Expo and Caesars Forum, the show floor was a clear reflection of an industry in transformation.
While the dominant themes were undeniably electrification, ADAS calibration, and the urgent need for advanced technical training, the brake industry made it clear that innovation in stopping power is as critical as ever. This year, the focus was on high-performance, specialized applications.

We saw major players make significant moves, from Bosch unveiling its new heavy-duty air-disc brake pads for the Class 6-8 market to Brembo launching its XTRA Ceramic Severe Duty line for trucks and SUVs. Elsewhere, Akebono celebrated a win, taking home the Import Vehicle Community Award for its EURO Ultra-Premium line.
For The BRAKE Report, it was a fantastic week of connecting with industry leaders, seeing new friction formulations, and exploring the latest in caliper and rotor technology. For those who couldn’t make it to Las Vegas—and for those who want to relive the week—we’ve compiled this photo gallery.
Here is your walk through the aisles, highlighting the brake companies that are driving the industry forward.
