ESSEN, Germany – The United Kingdom’s biggest-selling braking brand, Pagid, has unveiled new packaging and introduced blue printing on its pads as it further invests in growing and enhancing its market-leading position as the first-choice braking brand for UK garages and workshops.

The new packaging is being rolled out across all Pagid braking products, starting with pads, discs, calipers and accessories, to be followed by all other Pagid products during the coming months.

The focus of the new brand packaging features a computer-generated image (CGI) of a bespoke passenger-car rear-brake-light cluster, incorporating modern LED elements and the distinctive arches from the Pagid brand identity, which provides uniqueness in the UK market.

Blue text on the brake pads replaces the previous white text and has been introduced to further emphasise the brand’s quality and innovation credentials and to provide another point of difference.

Pagid is exclusively available through Euro Car Parts, the U.K.’s largest automotive-aftermarket supplier. The two leading automotive brands are currently celebrating the 10th anniversary of their successful partnership after joining forces in 2019 with a mission to make Pagid the U.K.’s number one braking brand among garages and workshops.

Phil Woodcock, Pagid Key Account Manager for U.K. and Eire, said: “As this year marks the tenth anniversary of our partnership with Euro Car Parts, we felt the time was right to enhance our position as the leading OE braking brand in the UK aftermarket by investing in revamping and re-energising our packaging.

“The Pagid brand is synonymous with exceptional quality, which is not surprising given the fact it an OE-approved brand of TMD Friction which has world class manufacturing facilities and invests €30m in R&D annually. We believe our striking new packaging is befitting of a brand with such superior product quality credentials and look forward to hearing feedback from garages as we roll it out across the UK.”

Until the end of October, Pagid and Euro Car Parts are running a ‘free braking giveaway’ promotion, offering garages and workshops the opportunity to win free braking products and consumables for one month and an exhilarating Palmer Sport track day. Every £250 spent on any Pagid braking products bought through Euro Car Parts earns one entry into a prize draw to win one of these prizes.
