Paccar Recalls Trucks for Potential Brake Problems

Paccar recently announced a recall of a small number of trucks for potential brakes issues according to National Highway Traffic Safety Administration documents.

Paccar’s recall affects approximately 139 model year 2020 Kenworth T270 and T370 medium-duty trucks. The company says the brake treadle valves may have loose compression fittings, which can cause the air supply hose to separate from the valve. A separated hose could cause reduced braking ability.

The company will notify affected owners, and dealers will inspect the brake treadle valve hose connections for loose fittings and tighten if necessary. Owners can contact Paccar customer service at 1-425-828-5888 with recall number 19KWD. NHTSA’s recall number is 19V-606.

Paccar is recalling approximately 139 model year 2020 Kenworth T270 and T370 trucks over a brakes issue.
