Manufacturing and Supply Chain Position

Market conditions remain challenging for operators and distributors as rising costs, margin pressures, and supply chain optimization continue to influence purchasing decisions. Lumag’s production base in Poland enables short and stable supply chains while meeting European Union safety and quality standards.

The company continues investing in friction technologies, manufacturing processes, and research infrastructure. Testing capabilities include:

  • Horiba and Tecsa test stands for measuring friction, wear, acoustic, and vibration parameters
  • Full laboratory testing aligned with OE procedures
  • Extensive road trials for real-world validation
  • Production batch verification according to OE manufacturer procedures

All products meet ECE R90 requirements and feature Lumag’s Green Coat technology for effective braking performance during initial bedding-in.

Company Perspectives

“As a European manufacturer since 1988, we focus on long-term partnerships, supply stability, and continuous technological development,” said Łukasz Żak, Member of the Management Board. “Our goal is to provide distributors with OE-level quality and predictability, which are essential for the efficient functioning of today’s transport market.”

Tomasz Orłowski, R&D Manager, added: “We combine laboratory testing on Horiba and Tecsa stands with extensive road trials, which ensures consistent parameters and smooth operation of the braking system.”

Complementary Product Lines

Lumag continues developing additional product offerings beyond commercial vehicle applications.

Breck Brand The Breck product line offers brake pads and discs for passenger cars, SUVs, and electric vehicles. These products are developed using Lumag’s R&D facilities and meet ECE R90 requirements.
