Disc Brakes Australia has launched a new BMW M brake pad range covering the M2, M3 and M4 across six F-series and G-series platforms. The manufacturer unveiled the program at the 2026 Australian Auto Aftermarket Expo in Melbourne, slotting the pads into its wider brake pad range for performance applications. DBA describes the pads as direct-replacement components that require no vehicle modification and are built to pair with its existing rotors.
Highlights
- Coverage spans six BMW M platforms — F87, F80 and F82, plus G87, G80 and G82 — across the M2, M3 and M4.
- Part numbers are assigned by generation: front DB2299 / rear DB15127 for F-series, and front DB15302 / rear DB15109 for G-series.
- Application years run from 2014–2020 for the F80 M3 and F82 M4, with G-series coverage from 2020 onwards (M3/M4) and 2022 onwards (M2).
- BMW M sold 5,837 vehicles in Australia in 2025, its strongest year in the market, according to figures cited by DBA.
Initial BMW M Pad Coverage

| F80 | BMW M3, 2014–2020 | DB2299 | DB15127 |
| F82 | BMW M4, 2014–2020 | DB2299 | DB15127 |
| G87 | BMW M2, 2022 onwards | DB15302 | DB15109 |
| G80 | BMW M3, 2020 onwards | DB15302 | DB15109 |
| G82 | BMW M4, 2020 onwards | DB15302 | DB15109 |
“BMW M owners are highly engaged performance customers,” said Janani Waterston, DBA’s Head of Product R&D Innovation. “They know their cars, they value quality components, and they expect braking performance that matches the capability of the vehicle. This new pad range gives workshops a DBA solution they can recommend with confidence.”
Where the Pads Sit in DBA’s Range
The BMW M pads join DBA’s wider performance pad program, which the company offers in OE-style replacement, street, high-performance and race grades. DBA says its Street Performance pads target improved braking over standard OE friction, while its Xtreme Performance line is engineered for higher initial bite and more consistent friction across a wider temperature range. The company positions the pads as a match for its rotors on quality, performance and safety.
A Strong M Segment in Australia
Australia ranks among BMW M’s larger markets, and DBA frames the new coverage as a way to expand its position in the European performance category. Workshops can check application fitment through the DBA Part Finder.
“This is more than just added coverage,” said Tony Burke, DBA’s Head of Sales ANZ. “It is about giving the trade a stronger DBA position in the European performance segment. BMW M is a serious performance market in Australia, and this launch gives workshops another reason to look to DBA when servicing and upgrading these vehicles.”
