Brake Weekend 2021 Rescheduled by FMSI

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. – FMSI – Friction Materials Standards Institute – has changed the much-anticipated Brake Weekend to September 30th thru October 5th. The autumn program will be held in Naples Florida.

“For the safety of our staff, members, supply partners and guests, our event – Brake Weekend – has been moved to September 30th,” explained Bill Carney Chairman of the organization.

“We have a very good lineup of guest speakers, a table-top supplier exhibit, and several networking events,” added Chairman Carney.  “This may very well be the next most significant brake industry event to attend”.

FMSI created the standard part numbering system for brake and clutch facings. It published the Gold BooK, the FMSI 2020 BRAKE LINING, BRAKE SHOE AND CLUTCH FACING AUTOMOTIVE DATA BOOK.
