FMSI Extends Deadline for “2020 Gold Book”

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. – FMSI has extended the order deadline to July 15th for the 2020 Library edition catalog, commonly known as the Gold Book. 

“The Library edition which is published every five years will be the most encompassing book FMSI has ever published,” said Frank Oliveto organziation president. “Due to COVID 19 we do not have a window for a second printing.”

Supply will be limited.

Organization members can order books online at FMSI.org as well as by email and phone. Non-members or  supply partners wanting to purchase the 2020 Library Gold Book edition should contact the organization via email ([email protected]) or phone (203-245-8425). Cutoff date for ordering is July 15, 2020.

Founded in 1948 as a trade organization, FMSI and FMS are registered trademarks of Friction Standards Institute.

The organization created the standard part numbering system for brake and clutch facings.
