This partnership includes full lifecycle support for the wheels and brakes, enhancing operational efficiencies and reducing maintenance needs.

Collins Aerospace’s current collaboration with Avianca involves equipping their A320ceo and A320neo aircraft with advanced wheels and brakes. A significant feature of Collins’ brakes is the DURACARB® carbon friction material, which provides a longer brake life compared to competitors. This translates to reduced maintenance requirements, lower service interruptions, increased savings, and enhanced operational efficiencies.
