ZF Aftermarket has promoted Steve Bashir to the role of Head of Aftermarket Sales, US & Canada. This move aims to drive sales growth and improve customer service across various business lines in North America.

In his previous position as Head of Commercial Vehicle Aftermarket, North America, Bashir directed a team focused on profitable growth, strategic planning, and full life-cycle support for customers. He joined ZF Aftermarket after holding progressively responsible roles at Tenneco, including Business Line Leader/General Manager for Aftermarket Braking.

Chris Battershell, Vice President, ZF Aftermarket North America, emphasized Bashir’s expertise in fostering a customer-centric approach. This aligns with ZF’s goal to become a more agile organization, offering trusted partnerships to distributors, fleets, and workshops.

Based in Farmington Hills, Michigan, Bashir holds a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management from the University of Michigan, Dearborn.
