DBA Launches LC300 Rear Brake Upgrade Kit

Disc Brakes Australia has launched a rear brake upgrade kit for the Toyota Land Cruiser 300 Series, completing a front-and-rear package built for towing, touring, and heavy-duty 4WD use.

Disc Brakes Australia (DBA) has launched a rear brake upgrade kit for the Toyota Land Cruiser 300 Series, completing a matched front-and-rear braking package for the heavy-duty 4WD. The kit pairs DBA’s 4000 Series T3 slotted rotors with larger performance calipers, steel-braided brake hoses, and XP friction-level pads. The company aimed the package at LC300 owners who tow, carry extra load, or run extended touring builds, where factory braking can become a limiting factor. DBA introduced the rear kit at the 2026 National 4×4 Outdoors Show in Sydney, held June 12–14, 2026.

Highlights

  • The rear kit combines 4000 Series T3 slotted rotors, larger performance calipers, steel-braided brake hoses, and XP friction-level brake pads.
  • It completes DBA’s front-and-rear braking package for the Toyota Land Cruiser 300 Series.
  • DBA targets owners who tow travel trailers, carry added weight, or build heavy touring rigs, where the company says factory braking can fall short.
  • The kit debuted at the National 4Ă—4 Outdoors Show, Halls 2 & 3, Stand D448, Sydney Showgrounds, June 12–14, 2026.

Complete Coverage for the Land Cruiser 300

DBA developed the rear kit to work alongside its existing front brake upgrade range, giving the Land Cruiser 300 a fully matched front-and-rear setup. For owners running large touring builds, towing travel trailers, or carrying extra weight, factory braking can become a limiting factor, and DBA says the rear kit is engineered to improve braking balance, pedal feel, and overall performance under load.

The rear kit uses:

  • 4000 Series T3 slotted rotors — DBA’s slotted performance rotor line
  • Larger performance calipers — for added clamping capacity
  • Steel-braided brake hoses — in place of standard rubber lines
  • XP friction-level brake pads — DBA’s Xtreme Performance pad grade

Together, the company describes the package as an upgrade over the standard OEM rear braking setup.

Built for Towing and Touring

Paired with the front upgrade, DBA reports the complete package delivers improved heat management, more consistent braking, and greater capability when towing, touring, or driving demanding off-road terrain. The rear kit extends DBA’s focus on 4WD braking upgrades for load-carrying and off-road use.

Debut at the Sydney 4Ă—4 Show

DBA showed the rear kit at the National 4×4 Outdoors Show at the Sydney Showgrounds, at Halls 2 & 3, Stand D448, where the company displayed the complete LC300 braking package and discussed the engineering behind it. The launch rounds out DBA’s front-and-rear offering for one of Australia’s most popular heavy-duty touring platforms.
