Wilwood Disc Brakes has announced the release of a new rear drum-to-disc conversion brake kit, now available with an Electric Parking Brake (EPB) option, specifically engineered for 1988-1998 GM C1500 Silverado and Sierra trucks. This innovative system aims to provide a modern, superior disc brake setup for these popular classic trucks.

Wilwood offers four distinct configurations for its four-piston rear drum-to-disc conversion brake kits to ensure a proper fit for various applications. These include:
- A Forged Dynalite caliper paired with a 12.19′′×.81′′ rotor, designed to fit most 15″ wheels.
- A Forged Narrow Superlite caliper with a two-piece aluminum hat/Spec37 12.88″×1.10″ rotor, suitable for most 17″ wheels.
- A Forged Narrow Superlite caliper featuring a two-piece aluminum hat/Spec37 14.00″×1.10″ rotor, compatible with most 18″ wheels.
- An Aerolite caliper with a two-piece aluminum hat/Spec37 14.00″×1.10″ rotor, also designed for most 18″ wheels.
Each kit is comprehensively equipped. Buyers will receive their choice of black E-coated GTB slotted rotors or SRP drilled and slotted rotors. The kits also include BP-10 street performance brake pads and the EPB system, which comes with caliper brackets, a connection kit featuring an ECU wiring harness, an on/off switch, and all premium-grade installation hardware. This ensures that installers have all the necessary high-quality components for a complete conversion.
