WATERTOWN, N.Y. — Railcar pooling company TTX has once again named New York Air Brake LLC (NYAB) to its elite class of Excellent Suppliers.
As part of the 2020 honorees, NYAB was recognized for its commitment to helping TTX exceed customer expectations for quality, cost, on-time delivery, service excellence, plus finance and administration.
NYAB was evaluated in three categories – OE brakes, Rail Services (repair centers), and Friction (ABS). All categories must achieve an “A” rating and a SECO cumulative rating no less than 92.0 to qualify for the “Excellent Supplier” designation.

TTX selects the list of annual honorees through a committee whose members are directly involved in railcar component purchases and product performance. The sought-after designation has been in place for over 30 years.
