Textar Expands Aftermarket Brake Offerings

LEVERKUSEN, Germany – TMD Friction has expanded its Textar product range by adding 12 new brake pads and eight brake discs to its ever-growing portfolio, some of which are first to market in the automotive aftermarket. 

Textar’s range of brake pads includes more than 1,600 references, providing the aftermarket with access to Original Equipment (OE) performance braking solutions.

Three new recent introductions are first to market for the trade including pads for the Porsche Cayenne (2017-2021) and Coupe (2019-2021) and Mercedes-Benz GLA (2020-2021) and GLB (2019-2021).

Other new versions cover popular vehicle makes and models including: Audi A8 Alfa Romeo Giulia and Stelvio; BMW 5, 7, 8 series, X3, X5, X6 & X7; Citroen Berlingo; Hyundai i30; KIA Ceed; Land Rover Discovery and Sport; Mazda 3 and Peugeot Partner.

Also introduced are eight new brake discs, with the brand being first to market on the new Volvo XC40 (2017-2021). Other new references cover Audi, Jaguar, Mercedes-Benz and Toyota applications.

Textar recognizes that the optimum braking result can only be achieved with brake discs precisely tailored to the brake pad.

The Textar brake disc range is manufactured in strict accordance to OE tolerances and meets the ECE R90-requirements and there are more than 1650 references for the passenger vehicle sector, covering almost 100 percent of the European motor vehicle parc.

The new-to-range parts significantly boasts the brand’s availability, allowing Textar to remain ahead of the competition and ensure its customers always have access to the most up-to-date parts, first.
