NUADI Group Bolsters Presence in North America with New Manufacturing Plant in Queretaro, Mexico

QUERETARO, Mexico – NUADI Group, a renowned name in the brake industry, celebrated the grand opening of its brand new, state-of-the-art facility, “NUADI America,” strategically located in Queretaro, one of Mexico’s largest industrial zones.

The cutting-edge facility is set to be a key production hub for backing plates and shims in its initial phase, with electrical wear sensors production slated for the second phase. Utilizing the engineering prowess of the NUADI Group, NUADI America is primed to service Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) as well as aftermarket customers, offering a wide range of products, superior service, and a first-to-market strategy.

NUADI America, which embodies the NUADI and SADECA brands, kicks off with an impressive production capacity of 13 million backing plates and 12 million shims, courtesy of its high-precision equipment housed in a sprawling 8,000 square meter (86,000 sq. ft.) facility. The company has ambitious plans for the coming years, expecting to augment capacity to 40 million backing plates, 36 million shims, and over 10 million electrical wear sensors.

The inauguration was attended by global customers of the NUADI Group from the brake industry with production plants in North America. These esteemed guests had the opportunity to acquaint themselves with the local team as well as several European representatives.

NUADI’s latest venture presents a significant strategic and commercial milestone in the American market, as it aims to bolster its value proposition to customers. With the goal of providing superior service and reduced lead times on a global scale, NUADI America is set to complement the Group’s existing operations in Europe and Asia.
