SSBC has released two new products.

One is a Dual Bowl Master Cylinder for Mustangs:

Stainless Steel Brakes Corporation (SSBC) has released a new Master Cylinder Upgrade for V8 Ford Mustangs. The Dual Bowl Master Cylinder fits 19641⁄2 to 1969 Mustangs with either manual or automatic transmissions.

The Master Cylinder features an “Original Look” with its Jelly Jar design; a highly desirable upgrade for American classics such as Mustangs. The Master Cylinder from SSBC increases stopping power while improving overall braking performance, style and safety, and can be installed without any cutting of vehicle chassis.

The Master Cylinder, engineered with the SSBC Dual Bowl system, comes with all the necessary hardware to install, without the need to cut into the Mustang’s shock tower or Z-bar. The SSBC Mustang Master Cylinder is proudly made in America and retails for $399. You can find more information about the new product and purchase it here.

The other is a Caliper Upgrade Kit for Corvettes

Stainless Steel Brakes Corporation (SSBC) has released an America-made replacement kit for 1965-1982 Chevrolet Corvettes. The Direct Fit Caliper Upgrade Kit contains everything a Corvette owner needs to upgrade to stainless steel sleeved calipers, including all correct hardware.

The made-in-the-USA SSBC kit features four-piston cast iron piston calipers, stainless steel sleeves, eight caliper mounting bolts, metallic brake pads, OEM dust boots and seals, stainless steel bleeders, four DOT rubber flex hoses and more.

The kit maintains the C3 Corvette brake system with high-performance seals. The OEM C3 front suspension components are notoriously prone to wear and leaks. SSBC solves this issue with its stainless steel design and engineering.

The company notes that the new products are related to recent changes in ownership.

With SSBC originally pioneering performance brake systems for American muscle cars back in 1975, Tom Reid had this to say with regard to the company’s return to classic product innovation, “We owe it to our customers to prove SSBC can continue to deliver high performance automotive products. We listened to our customers and in the short time since we’ve assumed leadership, have successfully released new products and reduced lead times by several weeks.”
