Wilwood Disc Brakes has announced an expanded fitment range for its new Tactical Xtreme TX6 big brake kits, specifically designed for 2023 and later Ford HD trucks. The upgrade kits provide significant enhancements in braking performance for the 2023+ Ford F-250 and F-350 models. Featuring premium materials, these bolt-on kits are compatible with factory electronic controls and master cylinders, making them ideal for off-road, hauling, towing, and heavy-duty highway applications.

The premium GTB slotted rotors are larger than the original equipment, with front rotors measuring 15.00″ x 1.50″ and rear rotors at 15.50″ x 1.38″, providing greater thermal capacity for demanding uses such as towing and off-road driving. Additionally, the rotors come with 48 internal vanes for improved cooling, and they are coated with a premium E-coat finish to resist corrosion.
Kits also come with fade-resistant BP-Q street-performance brake pads, stainless steel flexlines, and premium-grade hardware, ensuring a comprehensive upgrade for owners seeking increased performance and reliability. The color choices for the calipers extend beyond red and black, offering 24 custom colors for those looking to match the appearance of their truck, though additional charges will apply for custom colors.
