Motorcycle Division: Gary Hazel
Hazel’s background spans nearly every motorcycle racing discipline. His resume includes Enduro, Motocross, Road Racing, Dirt Track, and Vintage competition. He represented the United States three times at the International Six Days Enduro (ISDE).
Beyond racing, Hazel has held roles across the powersports business. He owned Thumper Racing and led dealer development and brand growth for manufacturers including FMF, Kawasaki Team Green, KTM, Sherco, Fantic, and Rieju.
“I’m very excited to begin this next chapter with Galfer USA,” said Gary Hazel. “Galfer has made a strong commitment to the U.S. market, and I look forward to growing the brand, strengthening our dealer network, and supporting distributors, dealers, and customers nationwide, bringing Galfer’s premium braking solutions to more riders.”

Bicycle Division: Todd Somers
Somers brings more than 30 years of bike industry experience to the role. He began his career in the 1990s at Trek. There, he developed inside sales operations and customer support programs.
Most recently, Somers served as National Sales Manager for Hayes Bicycle Group. In that role, he led dealer-focused programs and long-term growth strategies.
“Joining Galfer USA at this pivotal time is an exciting opportunity,” said Somers. “With the Orlando branch now fully operational, we can further support dealers, riders, and partners while accelerating the introduction of innovative bicycle products in the U.S. market.”
