The Juarez facility represents a strategic step in Friction One’s globalization efforts. With over 20 years of experience in private label friction manufacturing, the company is enhancing production through heavy investments in automation and quality systems. These upgrades aim to improve speed, consistency, and performance in brake pad and rotor production.
Guests at the opening event received an exclusive tour, showcasing the modernized plant. They observed automated processes that ensure tighter tolerances and enhanced durability. This investment supports faster lead times, meeting growing demand for high-quality, copper-free brake components.

Jim Zhang, Owner and CEO, highlighted the goal of a 60% increase in unit production from Juarez within the next year. Yogi Yogesh Choudhary, COO, noted that the site positions the company among top global providers of aftermarket braking solutions.

The plant’s success builds on its experienced workforce. From operators to quality engineers and supply chain professionals, the team combines long-term local employees with veteran staff from Friction One’s China operations. This integration ensures seamless continuity and operational excellence.
