In the second quarter of 2024, Frasle Mobility recorded a positive revenue performance, achieving R$980.3 million, a 6.6% increase from the same period in 2023. The international market revenue for Q2 was R$392.5 million, maintaining stability compared to the previous year.
However, the company faced several challenges. In April, Frasle Mobility closed its subsidiary Fanacif in Uruguay. May brought further difficulties with floods in Rio Grande do Sul, impacting both business operations and the logistics chain.
Despite these setbacks, Frasle Mobility saw positive influences from favorable exchange rates and robust sales, particularly in the domestic brake pads market, which reached record production and sales figures. Additionally, the Nakata brand gained market share in the Brazilian shock absorber market.
Hemerson de Souza, Director of Investor Relations at Frasle Mobility, commented on the resilience of the company: “We have gone through challenging months for the company, but actions have been taken to develop the company’s future strategy as a replacement powerhouse in strategic geographies.”
A significant move to boost global operations was announced in June with the acquisition of Kuo Refacciones in Mexico. This transaction, pending regulatory approval, is set to strengthen Frasle Mobility’s position in the international auto parts replacement market.
Frasle Mobility President and CEO Sérgio L. Carvalho expressed confidence in the company’s direction: “We trust in our business model and in the capacity of our teams spread around the world to continue carrying out our projects and actions, and delivering strategic solutions to the mobility universe.”
