FARROUPILHA, Brazil — The Randon Technology Center (CTR) processes and services qualifies for the ISO 45001:2018 certification, with the implementation of the occupational health and safety management system. The process was initiated in January 2020 and the final audit, which ensured compliance with regulatory requirements, took place on August 4. Thus, the CTR demonstrates the commitment to an occupational health and safety management system aimed at preventing work accidents and diseases.
To obtain the certificate, the team is responsible for the Management Systems of the Technological Center and Randon Companies, dedicated to mapping of the dangers and risks related to the processes, with identification and implementation of the necessary controls to reduce risks in the work environment. Workshops were held with workers and partners, where a new internal program was launched, called Now! – an acronym formed by the initials of the words “act,” “guarantee,” “guide,” “recognize” and “anticipate.”

The Randon Technological Center has more than 20 types of tracks – including the 53,000 m² of VDA and the 1,800 m² of low friction area – totaling 15 kilometers, where unique pavements and specific irregularities are reproduced to perform tests in diverse conditions.
In its facilities, several tests are performed, which make it possible to perform structural evaluations in the track and laboratory, along with vehicle performance, dynamic stability, virtual analyses and approvals certified by national and international organizations. Added to its infrastructure of tracks, laboratories and workshops, CTR has a team of engineers, technicians and pilots highly qualified for the development and execution of tests, with a focus on the safety and confidentiality of projects.
