Continental is broadening its product range, focusing on sustainability and advanced technologies to support the future of the workshop business.

Continental is significantly expanding its spare and wearable parts business, entering new product categories such as sensors for advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). This initiative emphasizes sustainability, including the use of eco-friendly materials in products like multi V-belts.

Mastering new technologies and enabling sustainability are pivotal themes for Continental at this year’s Automechanika trade fair in Frankfurt. Under the motto ‘Shaping Tomorrow. Together!’, Continental is expanding its original equipment product range and entering new aftermarket categories. This includes sensors for advanced driver assistance systems, like radar and camera modules.

Focus on Sustainability: Continental is emphasizing sustainability and environmental protection in its wearable parts. The company’s world premieres include the first production-ready multi V-belts made from renewable and recycled materials. Additionally, Continental is showcasing further innovations from its premium brake brand ATE, aimed at enhancing sustainability.

A standout product at the trade fair will be the UltracContact NXT, a production tire with up to 65% renewable, recycled, and mass balance certified materials. This tire combines a high share of sustainable materials with maximum safety and performance.
