ConMet Receives Navistar Supplier Award

VANCOUVER, Wash. – ConMet has received a 2023 Supplier Excellence Award from Navistar, a commercial transportation solutions provider with a vision to accelerate the impact of sustainable mobility.

Navistar’s Supplier Excellence Awards acknowledge suppliers in two primary areas: Performance and Leadership. This year, ConMet was recognized with the Gold Performance Award.

“All our teams at ConMet hold themselves to the highest standards, and they deserve the recognition for their diligent efforts,” said Ramesh Ramanathan, Chief Operating Officer of ConMet. “I am immensely proud of this achievement, and we look forward to many more years of shared success with Navistar.”

The Performance Awards commend outstanding performance in various aspects such as quality, delivery, cost, and continuous improvement. These achievements are assessed through performance scorecards, and the top four recipients are ranked from platinum to bronze.

“Even as the supply chain constraints continue, many Navistar suppliers have gone above and beyond to ensure they are exceeding Navistar’s expectations,” said Peter Friberg, chief procurement officer. “We are proud to recognize these suppliers and their achievements, as we continue on our journey to accelerate the impact of sustainable mobility.”

ConMet has been supplying wheel ends, plastic components, and castings to Navistar for more than 25 years. This is the 4th consecutive year Navistar has recognized ConMet with a Supplier Excellence Award.
