AUMOVIO will make its first independent aftermarket appearance at Automechanika Frankfurt with the ATE MK 100, which the company describes as ATE’s first complete ABS/ESP brake control system for the independent aftermarket, arriving in the year ATE marks 120 years in brake technology. The supplier, spun off from Continental, will show its ATE and VDO brands together for the first time under the AUMOVIO name at booth A03 in the Forum, Level 0. Alongside the MK 100, ATE will present a battery-powered brake bleeder and an extended New Original portfolio for electric vehicles, while VDO returns to the show with a new battery lineup.

ATE Brings Three New Products to Frankfurt
The 120th anniversary gives ATE a platform for three product introductions aimed squarely at workshop service work, spanning brake control hardware, shop equipment, and replacement parts for electric vehicles.

The Euro 7 reference places the EV portfolio alongside other brake-side responses to the coming particulate rules, an area suppliers have been staging around this year’s show. AUMOVIO has not published test data or part numbers for the expanded range.
VDO Returns With a New Battery Lineup
Automechanika 2026 also marks VDO’s first appearance at the show after a lengthy absence. The new VDO battery lineup anchors the booth presentation, and the company frames vehicle power supply as a growing service segment covering conventional internal combustion vehicles as well as those with start-stop systems and mild-hybrid technology. VDO will also show products and system solutions for engine management, fuel systems, and other vehicle components.
Two Brands Under One Aftermarket Roof
The joint appearance is the clearest signal yet of how AUMOVIO intends to position its aftermarket business, which has been building brand-level programs for ATA since its separation from Continental — including a dedicated ATE image campaign aimed at workshops and dealers earlier this year.

The company is exhibiting under the motto “Shaping tomorrow. Together!” and says the booth will pair product displays with technical support for workshops, retail partners, and distributors.
