Apec has expanded its Apec Red braking range with 34 new components, adding brake discs, pad sets, brake cables, and caliper carriers. The UK aftermarket supplier said the release is aimed at independent garages and automotive professionals across the UK and Ireland. New fitments include a rear brake pad set for the MG4 EV, front brake discs for the 2023-and-newer Lexus LBX Hybrid, and rear brake calipers for the 2021-and-newer Kia XCeed MHEV. According to Apec, the Apec Red range is engineered and tested to meet or exceed OEM standards for stopping power, backed by a 3-year/36,000-mile warranty and 99% vehicle coverage.

New Apec Red Applications
This release continues a pattern of Apec Red range growth The BRAKE Report has tracked through earlier expansions this year. The July update adds discs, pad sets, cables, and caliper carriers to the line, with three named applications:
- Rear brake pad set — MG4 EV
- Front brake discs — Lexus LBX Hybrid, 2023 and newer
- Rear brake calipers — Kia XCeed MHEV, 2021 and newer
