ELIZABETHTOWN, Ky. – Tommy Rivera has rejoined Akebono Brake Corporation as Director of Aftermarket Operations. He previously held a variety of leadership positions at Akebono which included responsibilities in Sales, Product Development, Operations, and Plant Management.
Rivera will be based in the Elizabethtown, Ky. office where he will lead the Akebono Aftermarket Operations and Product Development Departments.
Rivera is a Kentucky native and completed his formal education with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Eastern Kentucky University. His professional career has been focused on lean manufacturing and operations, including 19 years in the OE and Aftermarket friction business.
