Wilwood Releases Front Big Brake Kits for Classic Porsche 911

CAMARILLO, Calf. — Wilwood Engineering unveils front big brake upgrade kits to bring 1969-89 Porsche 911s performance braking capability on par with the 1974 RS and 930 turbo using lightweight components and modern USA manufacturing techniques.

Oversized rotors and four piston calipers are engineered with mounting brackets for both 3.0-inch (76,2mm) spaced early-style and 3.5-inch (88,9mm) later-style strut mounting tabs.

These complete axle kits require no modifications and are compatible with the existing original-equipment (OE) master cylinders and rear brakes or matching Wilwood Dynapro rear kits.

The forged aluminum Superlite front calipers are motorsports-proven and optimized for use on this Porsche application. High performance BP-10 street brake pads are standard, with many other compounds available.

Calipers are finished in Le Mans yellow, red, or black powder coat, or 22 additional color options (additional charges apply).

Two-piece 12.19-inch (310mm) diameter iron alloy rotors with forged aluminum mounting hats are 1.10 inches (28mm) larger than OE for more brake torque and increased thermal capacity. Rotors are available with GT slotted or SRP drilled and slotted faces.

These new Wilwood kits have an MSRP starting at $1,534.33.
