HARTLEPOOL, U.K. — TMD Friction UK’s braking brand Textar delivered 167 new references throughout 2022 offering wider vehicle parc coverage than ever before, following its uncompromising approach to research and development.
In the 167 new products launched, 61 were newly developed, high-end brake pads, with 42 ABS sensors, 36 brake discs, 18 wear leads, six accessories and four new brake fluid products also introduced to Textar’s high-quality product lines.
In the Textar range of brake pads, all of the references unveiled provide fitment to a wide range of popular passenger car and light commercial vehicles. New additions include part 2258601 fitting Mercedes-Benz C-Class, E-Class, EQC, and GLC models, part 2614501 for DS 3 Crossback and Peugeot 2008 cars, and 2626801 for Volkswagen vans including California T6, Transporter and Multivan models.
New additions to the Textar brake disc range offer fitment across 25 different vehicle manufacturers, including new disc 92326805 fitting BMW 2 Coupe, 3 Series and 4 Series cars, 92327403 for Ford Puma models, and 92300505 for Jaguar F-PACE, XE, XF and XF Sportbrake, and Range Rover Velar models.
Further introductions to the Textar wear lead range include new references offering fitment to various Audi, BMW, Cupra, Ford, Jaguar, Land Rover, Porsche, and Volkswagen cars.
As well as the new parts, TMD Friction UK introduced a new range of Textar low-viscosity (LV) DOT4 brake fluid, now available in 250ml, 500ml, one liter and five liter quantities.
The new parts delivered during 2022 benefitted from TMD Friction UK’s new research and development facility in Seaton Ross, East Yorkshire, which subjects new pad and disc applications to an exacting testing regime to ensure optimal, OE or higher-quality parts are delivered to the automotive aftermarket.
Superior casting and complete surface coating ensure high performance, optimum safety and a long service life are the qualities reflected in all Textar products.
