Shaftec Expands Brake Caliper and Driveshaft Portfolio

Shaftec has released 18 new part numbers for January 2026, comprising seven brake calipers and 11 driveshafts. The additions expand coverage across European and American vehicle applications, including fitments for Audi, Mercedes-Benz, Vauxhall, Ford, and Tesla platforms.

  • Seven brake calipers and 11 driveshafts added to Shaftec’s January 2026 New To Range catalog
  • Tesla Model S coverage introduced with part number BC22060BLK for 2012-onward vehicles
  • Mercedes-Benz A-Class driveshaft (ME226L) extends coverage to 2022-onward models
  • Hybrid and EV applications included alongside conventional petrol and diesel fitments

Brake Caliper Applications

The new brake caliper references target several high-volume European and American platforms:

  • BC11539 – Audi A6 C7 (2010-2018)
  • BC21579 – Vauxhall Astra Mk VII (2015 onward)
  • BC22060BLK – Tesla Model S (2012 onward)

Driveshaft References

The driveshaft expansion addresses multiple OEM applications:

  • FO301R – Ford Kuga II (2008-2012)
  • ME226L – Mercedes-Benz A-Class (2022 onward)
  • AU492R – Audi A3 (2017 onward)

These additions follow the most recent New To Range update, which introduced three driveshaft references in September 2025.

Adrian Kitchen, Shaftec Marketing Manager, said the January release reflects the company’s ongoing catalog expansion strategy. “We have made even more parts available for petrol, diesel, hybrid and electric vehicles from a range of different manufacturers,” Kitchen stated.
