SAF-HOLLAND, a global leader in heavy-duty commercial vehicle components, has unveiled its rebranded remanufactured parts line under the Haldex REMAN name. This strategic move replaces the Like-Nu brand and reflects the company’s commitment to quality, sustainability, and meeting the growing demand for remanufactured components. The new product line leverages advanced remanufacturing processes to deliver like-new performance while supporting environmental sustainability.

Key Highlights:

  • Comprehensive Aftermarket Portfolio: SAF-HOLLAND offers a full range of OE Original service parts, All-Makes parts, and remanufactured parts for trucks, trailers, and buses.
  • Rebranding to Haldex REMAN: The Haldex REMAN name emphasizes quality and reliability, aligning with Haldex’s global reputation.
  • Dedicated Facility for Remanufacturing: The Marion, N.C. facility is now exclusively focused on Haldex REMAN products to streamline operations and expand OEM offerings.
  • Expanded Product Portfolio: Haldex REMAN includes air compressors, ABS valves, air dryers, brake valves, power steering units, and water pumps.
  • Environmental Benefits: The remanufacturing process reduces greenhouse gas emissions, waste, and resource consumption, aligning with sustainability goals.

SAF-HOLLAND’s rebranding of its remanufactured parts line to Haldex REMAN reflects its dedication to providing high-quality solutions for price-conscious customers. The rebranded line assures customers that Haldex REMAN products meet the same rigorous quality standards associated with the Haldex name.

The remanufacturing process involves revitalizing returned cores to meet original performance specifications, ensuring they function like new. This environmentally friendly approach reduces waste, lowers greenhouse gas emissions, and minimizes resource usage, making it a cost-effective and sustainable solution for vehicle maintenance.

“Haldex is expanding its remanufactured product portfolio to respond to the rising demands in this segment as the number of older vehicles in the market increase,” said Brent Dinger, Reman Product Manager. “We are now dedicating the Marion, N.C. facility solely to Haldex REMAN products, and have streamlined operations to allow for further expansion of focused OEM product lines.”

The Haldex REMAN brand aims to help customers keep their trucks, trailers, and buses operational for the next million miles, offering a dependable and sustainable alternative to new components. With a focus on supporting the lifecycle of heavy-duty vehicles, Haldex REMAN aligns with the evolving needs of the aftermarket sector.

Nathan Duncan, Haldex Remanufacturing Operations Director, emphasized the team’s dedication: “Our unwavering commitment to quality, sustainability, and customer satisfaction sets us apart in the remanufacturing industry. The dedication and expertise of my colleagues inspire me as we strive daily to maintain our winning edge in the field.”

SAF-HOLLAND remains a key player in the commercial vehicle market, with a robust portfolio of brands such as SAF, Holland, and Haldex, serving customers on six continents. By continuing to innovate in its aftermarket offerings, the company reinforces its position as a leader in the transportation industry.
