Pro-Cut Tour Highlights Financial Benefits of Rotor Repair

Pro-Cut International’s "Save the Rotors" tour travels the East Coast, demonstrating brake service equipment and highlighting the financial benefits of rotor repair for automotive service facilities and technicians.

Pro-Cut International has launched its “Save the Rotors” tour along the eastern seaboard to engage automotive service facilities. The initiative focuses on the financial advantages of repairing brake rotors rather than replacing them. The tour utilizes a bus equipped to provide on-site equipment demonstrations.

Highlights

  • Tour demonstrates financial benefits: The campaign presents data on why repairing rotors is financially advantageous for businesses compared to replacement.
  • On-site equipment access: A mobile unit allows technicians to test Pro-Cut brake service equipment without disrupting shop operations.
  • Purchase incentives available: Participants in the demonstrations are eligible for credits toward the purchase of select Pro-Cut products.

Operational Efficiency and Demonstrations

The tour is designed to visit dealerships and repair shops to share technical data regarding rotor repair. Jeff Hastings, president of Pro-Cut, stated that the tour aims to show shops the latest products and the economic benefits of repair services.

Regional partners are collaborating to facilitate these stops at various repair facilities. The mobile setup allows Pro-Cut team members to demonstrate brake lathe capabilities directly on the bus.

These hands-on sessions are structured to let service professionals experience the equipment’s efficiency firsthand. The demonstrations highlight how rotor repair can reduce costs and increase revenue opportunities for service centers.

Recent Tour Activity

The “Save the Rotors” tour has recently completed stops in New Jersey. At Brookdale Community College in Lincroft, the team discussed brake service equipment with automotive instructors and students.

Another visit to a NAPA location in South Plainfield allowed technicians to inspect specific equipment. Service professionals at this location examined the Mule Tire Trolley and industry-leading brake lathes.

Incentive Program and Eligible Equipment

Facilities that request free demonstrations can participate in the Pro-Cut Bus Bucks program. These earned credits can be applied toward the purchase of specific brake service machinery.

Eligible products under this program include:

  • Pro-Cut X1 brake lathe
  • Pro-Cut X15 brake lathe
  • Pro-Cut B17 brake lathe
  • Mule Tire Trolley
