INDYCAR: Advanced Brake System Testing
At Indianapolis Motor Speedway, PFC Brakes recently conducted tests on updated calipers engineered for the unique demands of the Indianapolis 500. Although drivers rarely use brakes during racing laps, the 220–60 mph pit entry zone from Turn 4 requires precise modulation and reliability.
The objective was to eliminate residual drag and manage heat for improved top speed during qualifying. PFC’s refined pad retraction design optimizes clearance between pad and rotor without sacrificing pedal feel. Initial feedback from teams and drivers was highly positive, with full validation expected before the 2026 INDYCAR season.
New 68 Compound: Dual-Purpose Performance
The PFC 68 Compound represents the brand’s newest street and track hybrid formulation. Engineered for enthusiasts seeking race-grade friction with street-level refinement, it offers:
- Strong cold bite and stable friction (μ) across temperature ranges
- Smooth release and responsive pedal feedback
- Low noise, low dust, and noncorrosive properties
This makes the 68 Compound ideal for performance drivers who demand consistent braking behavior from daily commutes to demanding circuit sessions.

Tatuus T-326 F3R Gen 2 Partnership
PFC Brakes remains the exclusive braking system supplier for the Tatuus T-326 F3R Gen 2, designed for the next generation of FIA Formula Regional championships.
Tatuus will produce 50 cars for both FREC and Middle East series, all featuring PFC’s advanced braking package to deliver the precision, reliability, and consistency essential for developing young racing talent.
