18th December 2018 – Renowned brake brand, Mintex Racing, has been selected to provide the brake pads for all vehicles taking part in three upcoming championship circuit races.

Every car in The EnduroKA Championship, Focus Cup and RX8 Trophy circuit races will run Mintex’s high performance friction material, which has an established reputation of providing a winning formula for racing since the 1920s.

The EnduroKA Championship, run by Motorsport Vision Racing, will utilise Mintex’s revolutionary M1144 compound. This is a medium-torque material with excellent low-temperature qualities, making it ideal for high performance racing.

The Focus Cup ensures that all cars are identical in performance ability to guarantee the driver’s skill is at the heart of this championship, whereas the RX8 Trophy focuses on racing cars which are road legal. Both require a reliable friction material that meet the strict entry rules.

TMD Friction’s racing manager, Richard Barton, said: “With almost 100 years of race winning experience, Mintex has become one of the world’s most famous brands in motorsport, helping racing greats brake to success then and now. Mintex Racing’s brake technology is used in a number of different championships globally and we are proud to welcome three more to our list for 2019.
