The recent MAT Foundries acquired by AEQUITA have rebranded as Breyden. The company prioritizes the development of Euro-7-capable braking systems, including coated discs and calipers, for the global automotive industry.

MAT Neunkirchen, Immenhausen, Altenburg, and Ueckermünde officially began operating as Breyden on December 1, 2025. This rebranding follows the acquisition of the facilities by AEQUITA, which was completed on July 1, 2025. The transition marks the final step in the company’s corporate transformation process.
