Knorr-Bremse Extends HR Head

MUNICH – The Supervisory Board of Knorr-Bremse AG has extended the contract of Dr. Claudia Mayfeld, 59, for her role as chief human resources officer for five years as of May 2024.

In addition, she will continue to have responsibility for Integrity, Legal Affairs, IP, and Data Protection globally as an Executive Board member.

Mayfeld was appointed to the Executive Board of Knorr-Bremse AG in 2021 and took on global responsibility for the then-new area of Integrity and Law on the Executive Board. Since May 2022, she has also been responsible for HR at the Knorr-Bremse Group globally.

Dr. Reinhard Ploss, the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Knorr-Bremse AG, announced, “Ms. Mayfeld has demonstrable technical expertise and is accepted broadly, offering a valuable foundation for the strategic groundwork and business decision-making at Knorr-Bremse AG.
