MUNICH — For the second time, the annual readership poll organized by publishing house ETM Verlag put Knorr-Bremse at the top of two different categories. For the 17th consecutive time, the global market leader in braking systems and leading supplier of other rail and commercial vehicle systems received the Best Brand award in the “Brakes” category, while Knorr-Bremse TruckServices – Knorr-Bremse’s commercial vehicle aftermarket unit – was named Best Brand in the “Retrofittable Turning Assistant” category for the second-generation ProFleet Assist+ product.
Once again, readers of the most popular German-language commercial-vehicle magazines trans aktuell, lastauto omnibus and Fernfahrer, all published by EuroTransportMedia (ETM), voted for this year’s top brands in the commercial vehicle sector.
For the 17th consecutive time, this knowledgeable industry readership singled out Knorr-Bremse as Best Brand 2022 in the poll’s “Brakes” category. And for the second time in a row, Knorr-Bremse TruckServices took first place in the “Retrofittable Turning Assistant” category, carrying off ETM’s Best Brand 2022 award for the company’s ProFleet Assist+ Gen 2 driver assistance solution.
Bernd Spies, Member of the Executive Board of Knorr-Bremse AG and responsible for the Commercial Vehicle Systems division, was quick to respond: “For years, the ETM Award has been regarded as an important brand image benchmark and a major performance yardstick in the commercial vehicle industry. This is why we’re so delighted by both awards, and by the fact that once again, our readers and customers have expressed their appreciation of our solutions in two different categories. We give them all our warmest thanks for this tremendous vote of confidence. In our target market segments, Knorr-Bremse is a global leader in the development of innovative mobility and transportation technologies, and a dependable partner for our customers. With our innovations, we make a key contribution to the trends driving our industry, including traffic safety, automated driving, electric mobility, and connectivity.”
Dr. Jürgen Steinberger, Chairman of the Management Board of Knorr-Bremse Commercial Vehicle Systems, is also delighted by Knorr-Bremse’s double distinction: “We’re especially pleased to have won two ETM Awards in the readership poll for the second year in a row. In particular, we’d like to thank ETM readers and our customers for acknowledging our quality and service offerings. Winning the award for our retrofittable turning assistant for a second time is wonderful confirmation of our aftermarket performance and shows, just like the award in the ‘Brakes’ category, how sensitive we are to our customers’ needs and wishes.”
