FORVIA HELLA, a leading international automotive supplier, is strengthening its position in the independent aftermarket by expanding its brake systems offerings. This move aims to provide comprehensive solutions for a wider range of vehicles, ensuring high quality and availability for wholesalers and workshops.

The expansion focuses on deposit-free brake calipers under the NEWMAN portfolio, now covering even more vehicle models with an addition of 150 article numbers. This allows FORVIA HELLA to offer solutions for a broader array of vehicles without the need for deposits, simplifying processes for customers.
In the brake discs segment, the portfolio gains around 50 new article numbers. These include traditional and two-piece designs, supplemented by one-piece, cost-optimized options specifically for various BMW and Mercedes-Benz models originally equipped with two-piece discs as original equipment. Unlike their two-piece counterparts, these one-piece discs are made from gray cast iron without an aluminum hat. They provide excellent corrosion protection through coating, maintaining an attractive appearance over time. Additionally, the special one-piece variants utilize high-carbon gray cast iron, delivering superior performance in demanding road conditions.
For the first time, FORVIA HELLA introduces practical brake bundles tailored for the independent aftermarket. These sets pair brake pads with brake discs for high-demand vehicles such as the VW Golf, BMW 3 Series, and Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. Such bundles reduce warehousing and ordering efforts, benefiting wholesalers, workshops, and end customers by streamlining inventory management and procurement.
This targeted growth achieves near-complete market coverage, enabling customers to find suitable parts for almost every vehicle model. FORVIA HELLA provides nearly 99 percent coverage for brake pads and discs, over 85 percent for brake hydraulics, and more than 90 percent for brake pads in electric and hybrid vehicles (over 85 percent for brake discs in these models).
Beyond the product range, wholesalers and workshops gain from comprehensive support services. This includes an expert hotline, the HELLA Partner World platform for wholesalers, and the HELLA Tech World for workshops. The company’s robust international sales network ensures high product availability, short delivery times, and superior logistics services.
