Grupo Industrial Saltillo, S.A.B. de C.V. (GISSA), a leading global manufacturing company, has announced a significant leadership transition. The company has appointed Knut Bentin as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective August 18. Bentin will succeed Jorge Rada Garza, who is retiring from the company after successfully leading a major portfolio restructuring and the global consolidation of its auto parts business, Draxton.

The Board of Directors at Grupo Industrial Saltillo (BMV: GISSA) announced the change, positioning it as a forward-looking move to build on recent successes. The retirement of Jorge Rada Garza marks the conclusion of a pivotal era for GISSA, during which he was instrumental in navigating a challenging macroeconomic environment marked by disruption in the automotive industry.
On behalf of the Board, Chairman Juan Carlos López Villarreal expressed his gratitude for the outgoing CEO’s contributions. “We thank Jorge for his valuable contribution in focusing and strengthening the Auto Parts Business,” he stated. “He drove this transformation through a leadership style marked by strategic vision, execution focus, and the development of a process- and systems-based culture.
