Apec Red Brake Pads and Calipers
This month’s Apec Red additions consist of brake pad sets and brake calipers. Apec says Red components are engineered and tested to meet or exceed OEM standards and are intended to deliver full stopping performance straight out of the box.
The range is backed by a 3-year/36,000-mile warranty. According to the company, it covers 99% of vehicles. Calipers remain a recurring focus for the line: Apec’s 82-part Red and Black expansion earlier this year included 54 brake calipers.
Apec Black High-Performance Brake Discs
The Apec Black range adds new high-performance brake discs. These include a rear disc for the 2020-and-newer Land Rover Defender and front discs for the 2021-and-newer Mercedes-Benz C-Class. The Defender rear disc pairs with a front disc for the same model that Apec added to the Black range in its 49-part Red and Black expansion.
Apec positions Black as its higher-performance range for luxury vehicle applications. The line is backed by a lifetime guarantee.
